UDS Boundary Condition

1 Attachment(s)
Hi,

I added picture which is related to local thermal non-equilibrium model.

I used UDS code for solid diffusivity. When I come boundary conditions,

Because of LTNE model zone was doubled. (fluid zone and solid zone).

In the inlet solid zone. There are two section (Thermal and UDS) and in the uds

section there are User-Defined Scalar Boundary Value.

My questions are

1 - What is the meaning of User-Defined Scalar Boundary Value

2 - In the thermal section, is temperature defined as solid state temperature.

3 - How can I define solid state temperature.

If you answer, I would be glad.

Thank you in advance.

Okay, this is... non-traditional at least. Are you sure you need a UDS, and not a UDM?

The value of the UDS at the boundary. If you really need a UDS for solid diffusivity, and you know that the solid diffusivity is 4.21 at this boundary, you put the value 4.21.

The temperature is simply the temperature. At the boundary where you are looking, there seems to be only solid, so it is the temperature of the solid. What else could it be?

By setting the thermal condition to "Temperature" and put the value you want.
