I can open the Ansys 16.0 workbench. But I got the following error message when trying to open design modeler:

1. AnsysWB module has stopped working
2. An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host

(See images attached)

May I ask what is the source of this problem and how to solve it?

Thanks!

... let me reply to myself:

1. the problem happened when ANSYS 16 was installed in the Windows 8 Pro 64bit installed in Parallel Desktop 12 in Mac OS X.

2. there is no such problem when installing ANSYS 16 in Windows 8 pro 64bit installed in VMWare Fusion 8 in Mac OS X.

3. So, I assume it might be a problem related to the virtual machine software Parallel Desktop 12

Advice is appreciated!
