How evaluate average value on a cicle surface

Good evening,
I've done same CFD simulations by Fluent of a Nozzle, made in order to deliver an Argon flux that transport steel powder during a metal AM process. I have a large boudary where argon can flux and I need to evaluate the average value of a variable (Mass concentration) on a circle surface in order to evaluate the coherence with the experimental evidence. I can't find how to create a circle surface in Fluent environment (on whitch create the average value as output parameter), but I find only infinite planes or volumes... Someone have a solution? Thanks very much, Gabriel edit: finally I undersood that a surface can be clipped as circular, so I solved it... Right now I have another problem... How it is possible to moltiplicate local value (DPM velocity Y * DPM concentration) and got the averaged value on a plane? Thank you Last edited by gigionaytor; September 21, 2016 at 12:26. |
