Hi all,

I am currently doing some research on erosion modelling using Fluent. I am more a CFX user so I am going to need a bit of your inputs.

From my research, Fluent lets the user to define the parameters used to calculate the erosion rate: impact angle function, diameter function...

In CFX, you can choose material couples which are already implemented in the solver, which would mean that the parameters used to calculate the erosion rate are already defined.

Now, my question is: where can I get values for those parameters to define them in Fluent? Is there any good paper on it? or am i missing something on how to treat erosion in Fluent?

Thanks for your help
