Electrical contact resistance

How to implement a electrical contact resistance at the interface in Fluent?

Thank you!

Are you using an MHD add-on or something? Fluent does not solve electricity!

Or do you mean a thermal contact resistance, which is analogous to electrical contact resistance?

At the wall or interface, you must specify a material property and wall thickness. The default material is aluminum and default wall thickness is 0 (for no contact resistance). You need to specify the wall thickness and material to appropriate values to get the desired contact resistance.

I defined a potential equation using UDS.
Now i want to add the electrical contact resistance at the interface between two materials.
Thermal contact resistance is already available in Fluent.
I don't know how to implement electrical contact resistance using udf.

Hi all,

Did any of you manage this question that could explain a bit how it was done?

Kind regards :)
