Basic Questions Regarding UDS and UDFs

In my problem, I have two bodies [ A | B ]

Let's say I have defined a UDS (i.e. moisture content) which is initialized to some value in A.

If I use a DEFINE_PROFILE at the interface between A and B representing the flux of A into B, will A be depleted over time in a transient solution? (Due to mass transfer from A to the interface)

I'm still new to fluent so please tell me if you need more information.

You can't do what you describe in Fluent, but just because you don't actually need to.

As you are just fixing the exchange between A and B, you can simulate them separately. B is just fine by itself. I have some doubts on the feasibility of fixing the outlet profile in A (as that tipically requires a velocity inlet boundary condition), but that might work (sometimes it does for the velocity).
