i am working on co2 characterization membrane in fluent..............are there any built in functions for membranes in fluent?.............if not then for writing membrane UDF any user guide available?

Define the membrane as a porous medium. Go to cell zone conditions and select the membrane and check on the Porous Zone thus enabling it as a Porous Medium.

Go to the TAB Porous Zone below and you can define the porosity.
Select the component from phases for the porous media and select the viscous resistance and the permeability for through the Porous Medium.

You can also write a UDF for defining the permeation flux, I'm working on that presently will update you whenever I'm done.
