Hello all,
I am modelling a piezo-electric pump with a pumpchamber, that is moving up and down via moving mesh... When the chamber moves down everything is fine and the fluid is leaving at the outlet. But in the filling phase most of the fluid that shall fill the chamber again is entering via the outflow. As BC I used velocity inlet and pressure oulet. Is there a BC that does not allow any inflow via outlet? Or do i need to add a valve to my simulation? I know that in a real pump a valve is necessary but i would like to skimp it in my case... Thank you very much for your help. Best regards Chris |

Are any further informations required concerning my case?
Best regards |
