Hi, Im hoping someone of you could please help me with a UDF that has been wrecking my head for a while now, I want to model a 3 bladed vertical axis turbine in 2D, I was hoping the UDF would do that. I have come up with a functions that relates the pitching angle to the azimuth position, implemented using an If and else statement and set the azimuth to the initial position(theta0) + the time step(thetap1)
however after the 1st rotation I run into trouble here as I dont have a reset condition, could anyone help out here? Im also having problems with getting it to work successfully, I thought having a pointer for *Angle would set my angle similar to others like omega, however it does not, Can anyone help? I'd be eternally grateful any help or advice would be greatly appreciated, Thanks Last edited by BigMc; November 23, 2016 at 09:00. Reason: error |
