UDF compilation error
 
hi while building the UDF if getting the following error " The program cant start because fl1300s.exe is missing from your computer" can some1 help me fix this..

Please, check update of Windows and also installation process of ANSYS

hi Quang Le Dang,

thank you for your reply... my windows is up to date... my fluent setup has been done properly because i'm able to run simulation. Only thing i am not able to do is compiling UDF... can you please point out where things could have gone wrong in the installation process so that i can rectify it...

I think, you should use a very simple UDF to test what is really happening. Also make sure your UDF file is the same folder with your case.

Hi,
I think you don't have a C compiler coupled with Fluent to compile the UDF. Maybe try to interprate the UDF but I don't know if it will correct your problem.

I had a problem in compiling udf

It could be because the case file you are trying to load already has a precompiled UDF in it. But that was done on a different PC. You need to remove that hooked UDF and compile it again on your PC.
