aerograce is on a distinguished road
I am currently designing a nozzle for micro thruster. The detailed design is as follow, dimensions are all in millimeter. Theoretically it should provide 50mN of thrust with reservoir inlet pressure of 5 bar while exiting to environmental pressure of 1 bar. The detailed drawing is attached, dimensions are all in mm.

After a simulation on FLUENT with inviscid model, the mach number plot shows an oblique shock wave. If anyone can tell me, this is because of the wrong simulation setting, or the fault in nozzle design, and how should I improve it?

Best Regards,
Huichen
