A 2 way fsi model with an time varying inlet velocity profile and outlet pressure profile has been set up. How to calculate the pulse wave velocity of the pressure wave from the simulation.
From the results the pressure along the walls is constant along the length of the pipe for any given time. If we consider two points separated by a distance and calculate the time difference for the pressure wave to reach those locations, the wave speed can be calculated by speed = distance by time. But i am getting the same pressure at all locations at a given time instant. Is my approach wrong or is there any other way to find the pulse wave velocity? |
