Hello, I have been working with a problem regarding Heat transfer and my job is to calculate the HT coefficient as heat is transferred from high-temperature particles to low-temperature particles. That much is fairly simple and easy. However, I require the discrete temperature values at different time period at different parts of the particle, so that I can manually calculate the HT coefficient. What I get in ANSYS is a colour coded zone with each zone showing the average particle temperature. Is there an inherent way to retrieve the temperature matrix of the particle in concern? Or better yet a way to retrieve the particle average temperature instead of a range of temperature throughout?
The model design is very simple. It has a fluid domain in which I have 2 particles at close proximity one is a steel ball which is at high temperature. The other is modelled differently (wood, straw etc). I have to find the HT coefficient of the modelled particle( i know ANSYS have the function of retrieving HT coefficient but for this work, I need to find the coefficient manually. Hence either I need the data matrix from which I can find the mean temperature for every calculated time step. OR if i can get the average temperature of the particle then the life becomes simpler.
