Lift and Drag coefficients for flow past sphere
I am trying to simulate regimes for 3D flow past sphere in Fluent. I have kept Re=300, i.e. the range at which vortex shedding is observed. I do get vortex shedding at this Re but my drag coefficient and lift coefficient always go to around zero. I have put the drag and lift monitors on the sphere wall. I get proper values of Cd and Cl when I simulate the same case in 2d. I tried using LES, SST-k-omega and DES models, but using any of these turbulence models I get zero drag and lift coefficients.
