I am currently designing a platelet damage model for a project. So far I have been doing research on the theory behind blood flow, which is fine. However my supervisor has asked me to know whether equations, like the blood damage state equation, are used in post-processing or as a part of the solver(part of the solution). This is slightly difficult for me to figure out because the research papers that mention this equation do not specifically say how to implement the equation for practical use. Any ideas on the best way to go forward (I am using FLUENT)

Cheers
