Hi,

I am doing a simulation of 3D pipe leakage and I need help on boundry conditions. Here are some details:

1. incompressible flow, transient, LES
2. INLET: velocity inlet, velocity=300m/s, gauge pressure=28bar
3. Two outlets: one is pipe and another one is leakage outlet

What I want is the pressure contour. I need help on the outlet boundry conditions: Should I set those two outlets as pressure outlet? But what I want to get is the pressure and I don't know the gauge pressure... Or should I build an infinitely long cylinder(like T-junction pipe) at the leakage and set the pressure at the end of cylinder equals 0? Then what about my main outlet?

Any assist would be very apperciated.
