Hello there,
I am trying to find how the velocity varies at the cross section of the cavity. The air is flowing due to Buoyancy force (Bussinesq model, adiabatic side walls and constant temperature specified at the Top Wall and the Bottom Wall). No slip condition is imposed at all the walls, which means that the maximum velocity should be in the middle of the cavity. However, as it can be seen from the attached pictures, the maximum velocity appears to be closer to the walls. Does anyone understand, where could my problem be? Also, I can't get velocity streamlines. The Contour shows the velocity but once I try to insert the streamlines, nothing comes up. I tried changing Mesh but it appears to be the same.
