Hi,
I am simulating flow over a wing with winglet at different angles. The picture shows the winglet angle at 27 degrees. Since I wanted to capture the flow around the winglet in greater detail, I reduced the element size around the winglet. This also reduced the height of the inflation layer, creating what you see in the picture. Is it a problem? After I run the simulation and check the drag values, they seem to oscillate randomly, despite changing the winglet angles for each simulation. Can someone please explain why I cant get a pattern of increasing or decreasing drag? The mesh pictures show a cut plane through the mesh. Thanks. |
