Disable flow computation in a precise zone

hi everyone,

I would like to know if it is possible to deactivate the flow computation only in a precise zone of the mesh.

My problem is as folloows : i have a furnace whose atmosphere is considered not to move (convection is put aside).
However i need to be able to compute flow in other regions (molten silicium inside the furnace). For the moment, the atmosphere is considered as a solid to avoid the flow computation, but it raises other problems when i want to choose my radiation model...

Thanks in adavance !

In cell zone conditions, you can used the fixed option to force the velocity to fixed values. When variables are fixed, Fluent doesn't solve any transport equations and skips them.

Great, thanks a lot !
