water level
 
hello.
how can I set water level in a open channel water flow?
I'm using VOF model,( BC: pressure inlet and outlet. )

  1. Mark region where you want to have water with Region Adaption.
  2. Initialize your case.
  3. Patch volume fraction value 1 to the region (Patch option is in Solution Initialization).

You are wrong. You must: Initialize, mark and then patch.

Well, I think it does not matter whether you Initialize first or mark first. As the region generated for adaption is available for patching before as well as after initialization.
