bengir is on a distinguished road
Hi everybody,

I am currently trying to perform a simulation on a DLR-F6 body, which was used for the drag prediction workshop IV organised by the NASA and the AIAA. I have a question about the reference values I have to choose on Fluent. I try to perform the test case 1 : https://aiaa-dpw.larc.nasa.gov/Works...t_cases_4.html
And I don't understand how I can fix both Mach number and Re. Indeed, Ma=0.85 so the flow is completely compressible and rho is variable (and so Re might be non-constant). I know the temperature in the domain is 310K, I found the corresponding speed of sound and so the velocity of the flow (300.48 m/s). Do I have to choose a random viscosity and fix the density in order to obtain Re wanted?
It seems strange for me but I don't find another solution.
Could you please help me?

Thanks in advance

Ben
