Hi everyone,
I have a very simple case and I want to analyize the impact of the turbulent Schmidt number on the solution. I want to try turbulent Schmidt numbers from 0.1 to 1 using a journal file. I have an already initialized case and I tried ' rcd <start case> (rpsetvar' species/sct 0.1) sol/it 1000 wcd <case with sct 0.1> (rpsetvar' species/sct 0.2) sol/it 1000 wcd <case with sct 0.2> ...' I checked the files and the turbulent Schmidt Number changed in the Viscous settings (k-w-SST) during the run. The problem is that the changing of the Schmidt number via TUI has no impact on the calculation. Whenever I change the Schmidt Number manually in the GUI it does affect the calculation. I think this is pretty strange. Does someone have a solution? |

Nope
Sounds like a bug that you should report to customer support. |

Thanks, you are right. But this is not the reason and does not solve the problem. However, it is possible to write a journal-file which changes the Schmidt-number in the GUI. So it works now. Thanks anyway! |
