Hello guys,
I'm simulating a melting and solidification problem with fluent. My phase change material is Paraffin Wax with melting range 46-51 centigrade. In material box in fluent, for melting and solidification I can apply just a single temperature not a range. please help how to deal with it.
1. Should I apply the average range temperature or something else?

And, to simulate, for example, the melting process I need to apply the initial temperature lower than the melting temperature.
2. How much should it be lower than the initial temperature? Does it really depends on how much to be lower?
