Lift and Drag Force - 3D Wing ANSYS FLUENT

Hey,

So i am familiar with outputting the Cl and Cd of a 3D wing using ANSYS fluent.

What i am curious about is since these are dependent on the reference area inputted by the user, to determine the total Lift force and Drag force is it best to just output the Force measurements in the X and Y Direction?

I am worried as the lift force generated does not actually equal the weight of the aircraft I am designing, so it seems that more lifting force is actually required

let me know your thoughts

Thanks
