plot along a circle

Hi, I want to plot the Velocity Magnitude in an annular gap. It is a 3d Problem but I just want to plot along a 2d circle. So that I get the Velocity Magnitude from -pi to pi in a cross-section.

The problem is that I can't plot along a cricle with the xy-plot. I tried die plot along the curve length. But I don't know how to create a circle which works. Because until now I only get the message: Cannot plot along a curve length....

So how can I create and plot a 2d circle in a 3d modell. Thank you for your help

I'm interested if there is a more elegant solution, but my workaround has been to defined an axial-radial coordinate system, create an isosurface and clip the iso-surface to the specific axial coordinate and radius. This creates something like a clipped 2d-circle but it's not clean like a line probe or plane probe surface.

I tried it the same way. Create a 2d isosurface and than create an radial surface out of the axial isosurface, so that i got a circle. But that didn't work either. I also got the message Cannot plot along a curve....
