hello everyone,
I simulated with Ansys Fluent a free jet coming out of a rectungular orifice. After the solution is converged i want to visualize the Reynolds shear stress uv/Uexit^2 and the Reynolds shear stress uw/Uexit^2. Also i want to visualize the quantity Ωy*θU/θy (y vorticity*partial derivative of velocity with respect to y). Does anyone know how to do that ? Any help is welcome Thank you |

Custom field functions?
If it is too limited, you can make UDF (Execute on Demand). Save the results in UDM. |

Thank you for your help. Yeah that is what i wanted. I can now visuaize the quantity Ωy*θU/θy.
But i still don't know how to calculate the Reynolds shear stress. The velocity magnitude is the sum of the average and the fluctuating velocity as shown here . But for the Reynolds shear stress I have to use the average u,v,w velocities and not the flactuating ones. Do you know how can i calculate them ? |
