Sliding mesh problem - no flow through interface

Hello everyone,
I am preparing transient simulation with sliding mesh over a stationary part, as shown in mesh.png. In cell zone conditions: top element is "Mesh Motion", bottom is stationary. Fluent recognizes the interfaces , the mesh movement works well, however I met a problem while performing calculations. It seems that there is no flow between both fluid parts (1.png - transition, 3.png - end state). I've tried to switch the moving walls etc. according to the Fluent Manual but still something does not works properly. One curious thing - after initialization the pressure contours look like there is a connection/flow between both parts. (2.png) Do you have any ideas what may be wrong? I tried as well to seek something on this forum but have not found the answer. Thanks in advance! |
