Setting up porous medium in fluent: flow and reaction

Hi everyone,

I'm modelling drying in fluent and i am facing a problem. i will be very grateful if you can help.

I m modelling the biomass drying in a cylinder.
1. How to define biomass in fluent?
2.The cylinder is full of biomass and hot air flows from bottom to top.
how can i model it?
I want the biomass to be stable and hot air converts water liquid into water vapor.

Thank you in advance.

What kind of biomass?

In some cases porous zone might be good estimation (for flow conditions/pressure lost).

I think there is no easy solution for drying. Perhaps you could put the biomass moisture content into UDM and solve the drying process with UDF.
