can any one help me why the solution is in this way ???? i mesh it by icem im using k opselum turbulence model with v = 51 m/s courant number is 0.5 |

Need to see the residuals, soon you gonna get divergence, the turbulent viscosity is too high. The case is unstable with respect to BC's.

im trying to simulate an airfoil,

Might be helpful to post your boundary conditions. They are probably right, but more info is always better.

yes there is no outlet
but i specify the direction of my velocity as i know in CFX there is no need to specify outlet if you specify the velocity direction |

Okay, to my knowledge you do need an outlet. Check out this post Does Fluent always need inlet and outlet ? for more info.
There might be some applications of the software that would benefit from not having an outlet, but unless you absolutely can't have one it's always a good idea to add one. |
