hi every body, i need to simulate tne combustion in diesel engines i managed to found to fire the temperature gets 1700k but the pressure still constant no changes i used finite rate / eddy dissipation model
does any one know why
any help will be appreciated

hi roukaia.
your post is for a long time ago and now i have a problem exactly like you.
if you solved your problem, please help me.
i am simulating an spark ignition engine in fluent and i'm using finite rate/eddy dissipation like you. tempreture rise up to 1600k but pressure isnt good.

ANSYS fluent shows less pressure compared to experimental pressure, in terms of Pressure drop. This is really stupid, I don't know if it's bug or you need to use the UDF with parabolic profile of flow.
