Moisture evaporation process

Hello everyone,

I'm trying to model an evaporation process. At first, I have a solid material (biomass) with very high moisture percentage (70-80%) and I want to create an unsteady simulation for its dehydration until the moisture percentage drops below 10%.

Do you have any ideas? Thanks!

Single gas phase. Do you want to model the moisture gradient in wood?

yes, exactly. Could you give me some more details? Thanks

I think that easiest way to model this, would be using a UDM for solid moisture and mixture species for vapor. You would need to make UDFs with vapor and energy sources.
