Initializing large models
 

Good Morning,

I built a porous media model that consist of 15 million cells. The model initializing takes more than 24 hrs. Is there any method or recommendation to expedite the initialization process?

Note: I am initializing the model on a Xeon workstation with 8 cores.

Did you parallelize the Fluent for to use more than one core?

yes, I am already using the 8 cores.

Check your memory usage. Are you perhaps running out of RAM?
