Default reading and storing a surface mesh in fluent

can some one tell me how to read a surface mesh in fluent and then store it in cgns format??????

when i open my surface mesh file by selecting the 3D option it says that the geometry has no volumes and i can't select 2D because well, the model is not 2D.

Can someone help me with this????????
