Hi Guys. I´m a begginer at ansys fluent and i´d like to know if it´s possible to simulate a reheat slab furnace through dynamic mesh. The main idea would be one meshed block (the slab) moving inside a furnace (2d dimension at first) and the mesh readapting around of the slab. The heat exchanged from the walls to the block would be through convection and radiation. Can anyone tell me if it´s possible to do so without writing a UDM to store the temperature over different positions?
At the moment, i could only get the udf for translational movement of the block (the steel slab) to work |
