Hi,

I'm working on the surface treatment of some fibers and here's a contour of one of the results in attachments. The small circles are cross sections of the fibers to be sized, the deep blue fluid is the sizing agent, the transparent fluid is the air. The sizing agent is penetrating into this bundle of fibers due to outer pressure and surface tension.

What I'm trying to do is to create a chart that plot the penetration depth of the sizing agent against time. I would like to calculate the penetration depth by the difference between the outer radius of this bundle of fibers and the average of the distance of the phase boundary from the center.

Is it possible to do it in CFD-Post?

(I'm not sure it's relevant...but this is a transient problem using laminar flow model and VOF model. )

Thanks a lot!
