Problem concerning FLUENT dynamic mesh

Hey everyone,

I am experiencing some problems with Fluents dynamic mesh.

I am simulating a fluid structure interaction. My mesh is being deformed during simulation however I'm getting an error that my mesh becomes highly distorted. After a few time steps my solution stops to converge and simulation stops ultimately.

I think I found the problem but I dont know which preferences I've got to change in Fluent to solve this problem. First here is my original mesh at time t=0

Now after several timesteps:

Apparently the mesh does not really change the way I expected. The elements get highly distorted as the rest of the mesh does not adapt.

My preferences in Fluent:

My dynamicwall is of type System Coupling. The symmetry1 and symmetry2 are of type Deforming

Also:
-Mapping Summary: 100% mapped
-Symmetry1 Methods: Smooting & Remeshing
-Symmetry2 Methods: Remeshing
- remeshing methods: 2.5D

Any ideas? Do you need more information?

Thanks in advance
Fabian
