Lift and drag of a 3d model?

Is it possible to obtain the lift and drag coefficients of a three dimensional body in ANSYS Fluent? Or, would it be acceptable to take the coefficients of several cross-sections along the wings and body and perform a weighted average calculation to find the lift and drag values for the entire craft?

I don't know what your application is but for most bodies the projected area is used for calculations. Pressure coefficient, pressure drag, skin friction, viscous coefficient will all be calculated according to the exposed external surface.

For your question if you need to compare two different datas, you can use Cd and Cl. Cd and Cl will be calculated according to the reference area.If not you can use the forces on exposed areas but i don't really know what your case is.
