Hi,
I need to know the details of below questions. In this model i need to model cold flow modelling with species transport. I have 10 x 10 x 80 m fluid domain. i have two Inlet, one outlet & wall surfaces. In that two inlet one inlet contains air (compositions of h20, n2,o2) & another inlet contains fuel (compositions of ch4,c2h6,c3h8). fuel inlet is placed at 20 mm from air inlet location. If i am doing analysis in fluent, i enabled k-epsilon turbulence model with species transport. After analysis while doing postprocessing i need to visualize mass fractions of each compositions of fuel at 10 equal interval. Question1: From this equal interval planes (z- direction), if i check mass fraction of each fuel composition contours what it is represents in equal planes and also mass fraction is reduced continuously at equal interval planes from inlet to outlet. please explain in details Question2: if i added all mass fraction in using custom field function: if i multiply with total fuel mass flow rate means is it represents fuel mass flow rate @ that plane and why it is less when compared to fuel inlet. Same step when am i checking in outlet further mass flow rate got reduced. Please explain in detail Question3: how to check each fuel compositions velocity at particular planes to plot contours? Using custom field function or user defined function. please provide solution. Question4: defining fuel composition individually in fuel inlet, is we need to provide input to fluent as species mole fraction basis or mass fraction basis (if we have fuel compositions in volume percentage means) I dont know how to understand plese help me on these above questions. |
