please i want to simulate the experience of snyder and lumley1971 (Some measurements of particle velocity autocorrelation functions in a turbulent flow) with fluent 2d
but the problem that i don't now how to define the grid so that the flow became turbulent the inlet velocity is 6.55 m/s length : 4 m width:0.46 m so in the result the flow is laminar and the velocity reste constant along the trajectory i need to perturbe the velocity from the inlet . in the experience they use a grid to generate the turbulence please someone help me Last edited by soufiane002; September 29, 2017 at 05:35. |

"Studies of the Behavior of heavy Particles in a Turbulent Fluid Flow" does not have the figures you attached. Please provide the reference.
