Dear All,

I got one question. So I have a converged solution for dpm+velocity and wall film. The relative changes are negligible.

I am interested to solve only the dpm breakup and injection also the trajectory should also based on one way coupling with the velocity field. And to have dpm impingement on the wall and form a film.

I did the following:
1. SWITCH OFF Equation for (FLOW) & (Turbulence k and omega)
2. DO ONE WAY TURBULENCE COUPLING
3. RUN SIMULATION

when I output my images for the flow field. it still changes.

Please help!

Thanks

Sincerely,

Well, I found a solution for my case, but not sure if it is correct, needs to investigate a little more.

Actually, I am modelling a steady flow with 1-way coupling for DPM.

In Fluent :

solution> control> Equations

Here you can select which equations you want to solve. In my case, I run a steady case first, and then due to the 1-way coupling, uncheck the flow equations and run the simulation again.
