hi everyone!

I have to simulate methane injection in a ic engine, and I want to change the bc from wall to pressure inlet in order to do that. I think I have to creat an event on dynamic mesh section, but which type exactly? Is it activate cell zone or insert boundary zone layer? Thanks to anyone will answer me

You just go to boundary conditions and change the type from wall to pressure inlet. I.e. you compute up to the desired time using a wall and at the desired time, change it, and compute the remaining time.

How much automation do you need and why? It's only a few button clicks. You can spend 10 days to do 10 seconds of work or you can spend 10 seconds.

If you know how to use text commands you can write a journal file. It would be max 6 lines long.

Code:
rcd casename
/solve/ dual-time iterate # #

a few more lines here to change bc

/solve/dual-time iterate # #

wcd casename y
exit ok

Thanks!!! No, I don’t know how to use text command, but I’ll try next monday! I wanted something automatic because I launched my simulation from university computer yesterday in the evening, so I can’t stay in front of the pc all the time, I’ll se my result only nect monday! But thank you anyway for you reply, if I’ll be allowed to use that pc in monday I’ll try!
