Different results for same simulation
Hello,
I am running the exact same model & parameters (basically the same simulation) without any changes at all. Basically, run today, close the thing, come back tomorrow, run again the same thing and I get two different answers. Anybody know any reason why that could be? Thanks in advance. |
hey did you ever find out why this was happening? Having the same issue myself!

What are your boundary conditions? What is the coupling method (velocity-pressure)?

I suspect the simulations are not set up identical or the simulation itself has some kind of randomnes implemented. If the first thing can be ruled out entirely, i would help to know the simulation approach e.g. DNS, LES, RANS, URANS, BC's etc.
