Modeling of TKE in axisymmetric jet

Hello everybody,

I am making CFD simulations of an axisymmetric jet. For TKE I am using first order upwind. I was wondering if someone could tell me based on his experience which option gives best results between First Order Upwind, Second Order Upwind, Power Law, QUICK and Third-order MUSCL.

I have tried using second order upwing in both TKE and Turbulent Dissipation Rate, but convergence is not achieved.

higer ordering generally help to converge but convergence is not only depending on solver set up

grid, time setup(courant number) also affect convergence of your problem

Hi, did you manage to figure out the simulation? Ive been trying to get my simulation to match the values for the Hussein Capp George experimental data but my center line velocity is around 6 times higher than it should be. Any help or advice is welcome.
