Problem loading UDF in Linux environment

Hello everyone,
I am currently having a problem with Ansys Fluent on Linux. I want to run a simulation that contains a UDF for the drag function. Everything works flawlessly on Windows, but I need to simulate the bigger simulations on a Linux Server. Fluent itself starts without a problem, I have also already succesfully executed simulations without UDFs on the server. Loading the UDF into Fluent seems to be a bit of a problem, however.

On Windows I always loaded the UDF via GUI which worked quite easily. As this doesn't seem to work on Linux I tried to follow the "Compile a UDF using the TUI" chapter from the UDF manual. However when I reach step 6, where it says I should type the fluent_arch command into the Linux console I get an error message saying:

Unable to determine machine architecture.
Set the environment variable FLUENT_ARCH and try again.

Does anybody have a solution for this problem? Or is there an easier way to load a UDF into Fluent on a Linux system?

I am using Fluent 17.2

Any help is greatly appreciated :)

P.S I am not a Pro on Linux, since I started to work on the server just a few weeks ago. So, it would be great if you could explain any possible solutions in a way that also a noob like me can understand ;)
