hi. for a flow of air strikes on a heated plate i want to plot in x axis time and y axis temperature how to do it. please help other things i have done it just this part is remaining in my work which i am facing.

the case is of jet impingement.
air with velocity of 6m/s strikes a heated plat at temperature of 900K and the temperature start dropping and reached to 500K.

now the problem is how much time it take to reach from 900K to 500K. how i calculate this in ANSYS fluent.

any one know please help me .

If no one answers your thread, you can still edit the original post and then bump the thread with a new answer. After you read this, particularly items 1, 2 and 4

What CFD software are you using? is it Ansys Fluent?

waqarha2003 December 31, 2017 08:31

ANSYS Fluent 18.1

You can use surface monitors to plot nearly any value in Fluent.

Hello s1291,

I don't know I will get a reply after 4 years for the same question but I want to know how to choose line as the location for XY Transient or Sequence. Could you suggest to me how to do it?

Thank you
Raj
