how to plot temperature vs time in transient simulation

1 Attachment(s)
hi. for a flow of air strikes on a heated plate i want to plot in x axis time and y axis temperature how to do it. please help other things i have done it just this part is remaining in my work which i am facing.

the case is of jet impingement.
air with velocity of 6m/s strikes a heated plat at temperature of 900K and the temperature start dropping and reached to 500K.

now the problem is how much time it take to reach from 900K to 500K. how i calculate this in ANSYS fluent.

What CFD software are you using? is it Ansys Fluent?

You can use surface monitors to plot nearly any value in Fluent.

Open CFD-Post
• Create a new point in the location where you want: from the menu choose: Insert > Location > Point. give it a name and press OK.
At the bottom enter its coordinates.
• Now create a chart: from the menu choose Insert > Chart. give it a name and press OK.
At the left bottom clickGeneral tab, specify the type as: XY - Transient or Sequence.
• Click on Data Series tab and under Data Source Location choose the point you created in first step.
• Click on X axis tab, under expression select time.
• Click on Y axis tab, under variable box select your variable for example Temperature.
• Click Apply.
