Hy
I am trying to do a simulation which involves subsonic compressible flow.I am a bit of a beginner in fluent.can anyone tell me what kind of solver should i use pressure based or density based??

Hi! Use density based for compressible flows

Thank you
I did that. I have the inlet velocity and I want to check outlet pressure what boundary conditions should i use to get a better convergence??? And can I use laminar flow for this kind of set up??

For Nozzle flow always specify pressure as boundary conditions....so specify inlet and outlet pressure condition to check Mach No. along nozzle axis.....

Thank you
actually i am trying to do a simulation for a compressor. The flow is highly subsonic but the density is changing. Can you tell what boundary conditions would be appropriate for these kind of set up??

Use the same static pressure and static temperature as in the inlet
