Fluent simulation crashing everytime after 24 hrs

I'm running some transient simulations in fluent version 18.2 on a standalone PC with parallell processing. My simulation is crashing exactly after 5100 timesteps. I am autosaving dat files after every 400 timestep. Hence, I'm able to rerun the case with the last saved file. But it again runs for next 5100 time-steps and crashes. The simulation is converging and this issue has nothing to do with flow dynamics as such.

The error in transcript file/gui is Abnormal exit when running with Workbench. If running through fluent alone, then the error message is "the fl process could not be started".

I'm sure it is not a RAM issue as RAM usage is always below 25%. I'm guessing it is some sort of a system issue as it is happening after a fixed interval, but unable to find the source. I've tried rebooting system, reducing the number of cores, etc but it didn't work.

I would be grateful if somebody can point me in right direction..

Maby a network error? Connection to the licence server lost?

I work on a standalone PC with internet connection off. Hence, doesn't think it's a network issue
