Dear all,
I am doing conjugate heat transfer analysis of heat sink using vortex generator(VG) in common flow up configuration. In this triangular shaped VG are used also called as Delta winglet. 2 VG are installed in such a way that convergent ape is formed and it makes flow to converge on heat sink.. these VG simply creates the turbulence in cooling air which leads to more heat dissipation. I am attaching the CAD model. Here I want to know 2 things. first is about the location of measurement of Hydrualic diameter & second one is about the turbulent model ( RNG K-epsilon) and which type of wall function should be used. please reply. |
