I have 2D model with lumped parameter assumption and now i want to validate it for 3D, still considering some parts of the model in 2D. I want to solve the 3D equations for the part of my computational domain and the simple 2D equations for rest of the model. Is it possible to do in fluent?

I would say no. It's really tough. The 1D/2D-lumped assumption (namely infinite conductivity in a one or more directions) makes the problem numerically unstable.

Probably the best you can do is treat the lumped part of the domain as purely a BC for your 3D problem, but this still leads to inconsistencies.
