Initialization of interface in VOF

1 Attachment(s)
Hey guys,

I have a problem when I set the initial interface in VOF. I set the volume of fraction of each cell, but the initial interface is jagged line. I wonder how can I make the initial interface smooth.

Your mesh is discrete so it will always look jagged. Smoothing to make it look pretty is a post-processing issue.

Jagged line is intrinsic in discrete description. However, in this case, 100 grids are specified in x-direction and the Fluent presents 14 steps in a sinusoid interface. As is shown in the attached picture, the interface could be not so jagged. What I want is a interface constructed by 100 piecewise line but not 15. Please do me a favor.
